Thought For The Day
Thought of the Day from Hussian Bald ~ a veteran Ram Supporter ... ... ...
"Doesn't matter win lose or draw. The bottom line is, this club has made tremendous improvement in leaps and bound.
From 3 season wooden spoonists to top 6, Salim Moin has done a great job. That we have to credit the gaffer, the players and staffs.
At least we fans have something to cheer about, let alone our own local club.
I am proud of all those who support the Rams. Because if we dont, who will?
The fans from London? The fans from Merseyside? The fans from Anglian?
The PRC's? The Pinoys? Even tbey support their hometown teams with gutso.
If you don't bother about the local league, then be prepared to pay more for the euro league.....and by that time, I will be enjoying my rustic golf games in Bintan, Batam and across the Causeway.
Always remember passion is priceless. If you have that, nothing else matters."

Match Preview ~ S.League: Balestier Khalsa vs Woodlands Wellington FC [30/10/2013]
Top-three aspirants Balestier Khalsa and Woodlands Wellington go head to head with two games left in the season, with only goal difference separating them in the table.
Tigers captain Paul Cunningham stated after their last game that this match against the Rams would be a "six-pointer", and it's hard to argue otherwise. Anything less than three points for either side will see them drop out of the running to overhaul third-placed Albirex Niigata, although the Japanese team only need one more point to seal their position.

Salim Moin: We were over-zealous and we were disorganised early in the match
Salim Moin, the Woodlands coach, blamed over-confidence and complacency for his team’s tardy start.
“We were over-zealous and we were disorganised early in the match,” he pointed out.
“There were some very fast moments from Albirex early on and I should say that we may have been caught flat-footed once or twice, but the linesman might have struggled in the same way a couple of times too.

Match Preview ~ S. League: Albirex Niigata vs Woodlands Wellington [23/10/2013]
The Rams have no trouble finding the back of the net at all. Only Tampines outscore them in the league so far this season, with the deadly Korean pairing of Moon Soon Ho and Chang Jo Yoon together accounting for 25 of their 41 strikes.
That is an incredible record for the prolific and telepathic duo, who both struck in their last league game, a 2-2 draw against Tanjong Pagar. Chang now has eight goals from his last seven league outings, having struck in every one of those, and is arguably the league's hottest striker now.

Salim Moin Sees Red Over Jaguar’s Ahmad Latiff
Woodlands Wellington wasted the opportunity to go level on points with third place Home United in the first tier league table as they were held to a 2-2 draw by a defiant Tanjong Pagar who equalised each time the Rams took the lead.
The Rams coach Salim Moin believes that it was one of his usual turn-outs, where the result doesn’t match the team’s performance.
Woodlands Denied Victory by Defiant Jaguars
No soul left the Jalan Besar stadium in an estatical mood on Friday night as this season’s two surprise packages Woodlands Wellington and Tanjong Pagar United shared the spoils of an intriguing match which ended 2-2.
Despite having to wait for some time before settling into the game and allowing Tanjong Pagar to have their chances at goal, like Asraf Rashid’s long range driller which was punched away by Yazid Yasin, Woodlands were the ones who were put on the driving seat with already their first real opportunity in the 27th minute.

“The overall performance, I was very satisfied with," Salim said
Both Tanjong Pagar United and Woodlands Wellington coaches had nothing much to complain about after their sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday evening.
“The overall performance, I was very satisfied with," Salim said.
"They played very well. They believe in themselves that they can climb very high [in the league] so it was awesome to see this character."
Jaguars Deny Rams Victory In Thriller
Woodlands Wellington and Tanjong Pagar United played out a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday evening in a goal fest for both the crowd and those watching on television back home.
The Jaguars had to fight back from a goal down twice to claim a hard-earned point as Woodlands' Korean duo Moon Soon-ho and Chang Jo Yoon ran riot to score a goal each.
